Anihan graduate, Ma. Reenalyn Babasa, who dreamed to be a chef, is now a Chef de Partie in The Black Pig Charcuterie, Bar & Restaurant in Alabang.
While studying in Anihan, Reena started out as a trainee for her internship in The Black Pig. Having showcased her skills and potentials in different departments of the restaurant during her training days, she was told that she will be absorbed after her graduation. The news made her very happy because she can already see that she will be spending her life doing what she loves most – to cook. Her family is proud of her achievements and grateful for the help she has extended in their household expenses.
Reena lives in Calamba City. She is the youngest of three girls. Her father is a project coordinator in a Japanese company while her mother is an overseas Filipino worker in Taiwan. Although both of her parents are working, Reena opted to study in Anihan because she loves to cook and bake. Her dream to be a chef has finally become a reality. And it all started in Anihan.
